princessPrincess Tea

Thank you for your interest - all seats have been spoken for at this year's tea!

The Dacotah Prairie Museum is excited to announce a Fall Event for all area “Princesses” and the “Queens” in their lives! On Saturday, September 10, all girls with their Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunts, Godmothers or significant others are invited to the Brown County Court House Community Rooms in the lower level for a Royal Tea.

Princesses may dress in their best, with gloves, jewelry, crowns, hats or tiaras optional. Many wonderful books of Princesses and other stories will be available from the Chapter One Book Store. All are welcome and the event is completely free of charge. However, there is limited seating and a first come, first served policy will be observed. Tickets will be needed to attend and may be picked up at the Dacotah Prairie Museum, 21 South Main Street during regular business hours which are 9am – 5pm Tuesday – Friday and 1pm – 4pm Saturday – Sunday.

The Tea will begin at the strike of 2 o’clock and last approximately one to one and a half hours. All guests will be transported to the Royal Throne Room where they will enjoy stories including one read by Marie Cleveland,  local author of the “Storybook Land Series” and a Princess story will be shared by a real life mystery Princess!

Door prizes will be given away and the program will help all guests practice some of the “royal ways” and learn about others. Everyone will learn about four real Princesses from around the world and their lives. Royal refreshments of food and drink will be shared by all.

Make plans with the “Princess” in your life to attend the “Princess Party & Tea” with the Dacotah Prairie Museum on September 10!
