Aberdeen Area Arts Council Extravaganza

The Dacotah Prairie museum proudly presents the “Aberdeen Area Arts Council Extravaganza” from February 4th through March 30. A sampling of the artwork that will be included in the exhibit are: oil paintings from Edward Haskell and Rebecca Mulvaney, who will be presenting new paintings in her sky series for the first time. Drawings and watercolors from Jo Sperry and Lora Schaunaman and nature photography from Martha Mehlhaff will be highlighted along with an original ceramic birdhouse by Cheri Lien. Terese Leon will show to two original music manuscripts along with two pieces of choral music and a piano solo by Allan Jacobson.

New in this exhibit will also be a part of the display dedicated to the talents of the Arts Council youth members. Members Shelby and Brooke Braun and Nick Schaunaman will show photographic and visual work and Heather Kiesz will present original poetry.
