Membership in the
Dacotah Prairie Museum Foundation
The Dacotah Prairie Museum Foundation was created in 1985 to enhance the museum's limited financial base provided by Brown County taxes and to assist the museum in offering a unique look into the history of Brown County and the life of prairie settlers.
The Foundation provides financial assistance for the museum to care for its important collection of regional historic artifacts and natural specimens. It also helps the museum acquire and present special temporary exhibits.
The Foundation promotes the museum across Northeastern South Dakota, and assures that the Dacotah Prairie Museum continues as one of South Dakota's premier museums.
Annual memberships are renewable on membership anniversary
date.

Upon receipt of your Dacotah Prairie Museum Foundation commitment, you will be listed on the honor roll of Foundation members for the current year. Requests for anonymity will, of course, be honored.
Membership contributions are deductible to the extent
that they exceed the basic levels, and as current tax laws permit.
