The Dacotah Prairie Museum was established for
public use for the purpose of preserving and showcasing the rich, colorful
history of Brown County and its inhabitants. Although Brown County taxes provide the base for museum operations, this money is limited.
To provide the exhibits and educational programs the public has come
to expect, additional support is needed.
The Dacotah Prairie Museum Foundation was created in 1985 to solicit
donations to supplement the financial needs of the Dacotah Prairie Museum. Through your
generous annual contributions, you can show your support of our commitment to keep yesterday
alive for tomorrow.
Your membership helps the museum collect and preserve its collection of
artifacts, present special exhibitions and programs, and promote
the museum to a wider audience. Annual memberships are renewable on membership anniversary
date.
