Young Boys, Big Toys

The next blockbuster event scheduled for the Museum’s summer event calendar is “Young Boys, Big Toys” to be held on August 1! The event will be held at the Museum parking lot and adjacent streets on the evening of Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

This “Night Out with Your Little Buddy” will include all boys, ages 2 – 12 years old, who are accompanied by an adult partner. Although there is not charge to attend, the boys and their partners must pre-register to provide an accurate count for food. All boys who pre-register will receive a complimentary gift bag. Free will offerings will be accepted and much appreciated to help defray costs of the evening. Just check in at the registration table for your special stamp to collect your gift bag and begin the tour.

The evening will center on vehicles of all descriptions, from race cars, to fire engines, to antique autos, to motorcycles and 4-wheelers! Semi-trucks, army jeeps and Hummers will also be on display. Each vehicle will be accompanied by a person who will be able to explain it and answer questions like: “How fast can it go?” and “How big are those tires?” You are free to enjoy all the vehicles, staying as long as you wish at each.
