Gallery K – The Fan Room

Here are contained fans of varying styles and periods from the collection of Ruth Hatterscheidt. There was a definite etiquette about the way these ladies used a fan to send messages to young men in the same room. The picture on the walls show these young ladies in a social situation sending several different messages to their beaux.
