A
wide variety of educational programs and activities are
available from the Museum for people of all ages. History-In-A-Trunk brings
hands-on artifacts to the audience. During
summer, a History Camp includes doing old-time chores, playing
old-fashioned games, cooking over a camp fire, and exploring the buildings
at Centennial Village.
Our Brown
Bag Lunch Series runs Thursdays. Programs held
on 2nd floor of Museum from 12:05-1:00pm. Public invited
to bring lunch to these sessions, coffee provided. Subjects
to be announced.
Third and fourth graders enjoy An Afternoon Into the Past in which
they dip candles, churn butter, spin and weave, and wash clothes on a washboard
with lye soap.
Join us select Tuesdays from 12:05-1:00 pm in the Helen Bergh Education Room
for our Ethnic Cooking Series! Presenting a variety of dishes and
cooking techniques specific to various countries around the world.
An ever-growing selection of slide shows and videos as well as the Museum's speakers'
